grr stop timing out!

ok this entry is actually an email that i will copy and paste into my diary when it starts working again. for some reason it's bing really stupid and not letting me onto anything diaryland-related on my liverpool user. pfft.

hmm my mouth tastes icky.

well, came back from huddersfield yesterday; it felt really strange to come back to liverpool, i don't know why. but i'm not here for long - on friday i'm off home again (woo!) to familiarity and unlimited net access (except for when everyone else needs it)

huddersfield was kewl, i love being with em and kate, it was like we'd never been apart, again... we didnt actually go out, despite our intentions. friday night we couldnt be bothered, and saturday we went out for a meal with dag and bev, then we were meant to go to the D bar but me and em started talking just as we were about to leave, then kate and bob came back and said 'where were you? the bar's shut now!' so oops... sunday i meant to catch the 3:10pm bus into town, but em and kate were messing about beautifying or something and we missed it by like 10 seconds. 10seconds! grrr... so we got a taxi instead.

when i got back to liverpool i wanted a strawberry shake and some eggs, but the station bk was filthy expensive, the big one in town had switched its shake machine off and the little one didnt even have them. so i broke the boycott and got maccy d's (but don't tell henry) and nowhere was open that sold eggs! so i had to have noodles when i got back instead.

hmm, well we're finally getting the house situation sorted - i rang up one property people and they're getting back to me about a viewing on wednesday, so go me for being the organised one! once we've got those viewings sorted i'm going to ring up a couple of the other places too, so we can see as many as possible as soon as possible. i only managed to find about 7 eight-bedroomed houses so we should get a move on. oh mind you, there's a row of four identical ones that i'm classing as one and really shouldnt. so we'll probably get a good one as long as no-one decides to be lazy now i've got the ball rolling.

should probably go soon as i still need to make steve's birthday card. going to see the ballet tomorrow, woo! then i only have two maore days to make it through without spending anything (because i may treat myself to a program tomorrow and that will clean me out for this week's budget... which i am doing pretty damn well at sticking to so far :-D)

i am feeling really motivated about this new-year get fit thing... even though i still have an aversion to the gym i've got dancing; and aerobics starts up on sunday so i'm going to give that a go next week; and i'm going to find out how much swimming costs without membership at the campus sports centre, and if i can find time to go regularly i might even consider joining... but i'll see about that.
