lucky thirteen

wow, thirteen days! thats the longest i've left this since i started writing in my leirdalag diary...

soo whats been happening at camp mills since my last update? well i failed my driving test. d'oh! but i'm taking it again so hopefully will have learned from my mistakes. then we went on holiday to near bournemouth, woo! and i got to see em and kate again for the first time in aaaages. they are just the same as last time i saw them and it was great cos they came and stayed in the caravan a couple of nights and we got drunk and went swimming, but not necessarily in that order.

also went to bournemouth town centre and had a wander, and went to burley and bought some kewl dragony stuff and a bottle of sloe wine :D wasnt as hot as last year but that's not such a bad thing. on the last day we went into poole but it wasnt all that interesting. we did have a wander round this kewl old cottage museum and mum kept saying things like 'nanna had one of those! we used to have that!' and stuff. then we had a walk along the harbour and had a look in the pottery museum.

got back yesterday and i had the glooms, thinking about leaving em and kate back in milford and that i only have one more week til i have to pack up my life and move it all to liverpool again. but the upside of that is that i will have all my uni friends again, and em and kate said they'd visit, and i'm going to come back for meg's birthday, so it wont be so bad.

ian and joe and the rest of his year got their A level results back on thursday. joe did ok, but i think he was hoping for better, and ian didnt get the grades he needed for his radiography course, so i dont know what's going to happen there. there's always clearing, but if that falls through then he's going to have to wait a year and re-apply. so that's a bit of a bummer but there's still hope with the clearing thing, if he gets on with it. and hopefully i'll be visiting tomorrow after work but i'll have to see how that goes.

anyway, i have to go iron my work shirt and put some slap on before it gets too late
