summer term starts with too many 9 o clocks...

thought i should probably update again, hopefully i should have more to say this time, although it's likely only me that's interested!

i have spent far too long in the library today. i only came in to have a look for some books, but you know how it is, you start checking emails, then replying, then chatting on msn, then checking your favourites... ah well. april rankings have gone up on the BFA website but nottingham didnt send their results so my fantastic place has not yet been rewarded :( soon though... soon, preciousss... also feeling rather smug after seeing the new club rankings - i'm first in ladies foil and second in epee (although i really should be first... grr...) apparently i lost to mike at epee back in february and that meant i dropped to just below bryony.. oh well. i know i can beat her, then it's just mario and nas and i will be kingotheworld!! or something.

i can never beat mario. it's so frustrating because i know i should be able to, we go to belle touche almost every bout, then he just manages to sneak the last point on me.. bah. one day.

went to see ring 2 with the guys on saturday.. was a bit pants actually, but it was good to see everyone again, even if i did owe mike and mario �50 altogether :S went back to mike's again afterwards, but no wine this time :( was still fun tho - we got pizza and watched some old doctor who, with witty banter from mario and friend.. cant remember his name tho.. oops. then some really rubbish vampire film with eddie murphy. you could see where his wig was glued on, i mean come on!

i'm kinda miffed that mario's not going to the AU dinner.. i've got so used to him being around when the fencers go out, it's going to be weird having to talk to *gasp* other people :P meh, should be fun tho. apparently they've moved the date so i have another week of eating salads and doing too much exercise and getting enough sleep and drinking anough water so i look fabulous in my dress... and i will look fabulous, dahhrling... i need a camera. i dont want to keep buying rubbish disposable ones, cos the amount i'm spending on them and getting them developed is starting to add up... cant really afford a decent one at the moment tho, even though i want one for ruth's birthday and the ball and stuff.. taking to fencing comps so i dont have to blind people with the flash.. and i havent lost a single disposable one!

argh, i'm sure i had more stuff to say when i started this entry... did i mention first session back at fencing? ... nope... well, i started out getting my ass kicked but thankfully picked up towards the end of the session. i was fencing epee for most of it and getting such bad cramp in my hand... i should invest in a tennis ball to squeeze or something. then right at the end i grabbed a lame and went up against mario in foil... man that was embarrasing. i hate doing foil straight after epee.

anyway, i've spent far too long on here and i'm still hungry so i'm going to go fetch my book, get my ass back home and do some work. and get food. yeah.
