Happy birthday to me! For yesterday...

And so I am older. Went out for dinner last night with a few friends to this fab french place that does two courses and a whole bottle of wine per person for �13.95 each. Pretty sweet if you ask me! Plus I got free bubbly for being the birthday girl :-) I wore my ridiculously high topshop boots - had to get them a size too big to fit my wide lil feet so if my heel is where it's supposed to be the ball of my foot doesn't actually make contact with the sole. That's probably quite dangerous. Maybe I should get some insoles... Anyway, they're fab, that's why I got them, and after a few glasses of wine it's actually easier to walk in them than when I'm sober...

I had a really great time. Stef made cake and I blew out candles. Went to bed at midnight, which is almost unheard of for me on a work night, and then when I got up this morning the water heater had strangely turned itself off. Had to have a cold semi-shower - it was too cold to stand under but I was stinky so couldn't neglect it altogether.

I should go to bed now to get some catch-up sleep. Pics to follow when I figure out how to transfer them!
