Had my third on call in four days today and it was horrible. Far too busy. I spent two hours trying to sort out a girl who lay whimpering in bed and cried the whole time the physios were walking with her then decided she didn't want to stay in hospital and have her morphine and inpatient MRI but go home and have no morphine and no MRI. Some people are just weird, but she took up far too much time for no good reason. Did see and sort out a very sweet old man though, which kind of made me feel better.
