essay.. fence.. essay.. fence...

i'm adding an entry but in a minute shall be finishing this essay thingy... thought i wouldnt get a chance earlier, i'm up to 2000 words, so passed the minimum, but i went out to meet lisa v for a bit and didnt know when i'd be back. but she had to go to work so i have the rest of the evening, which is kewl.

thinking that all my english skills are going into the essay so i this entry will not flow. it will be a staccato entry. stop-starty. it was great to see lisa again, even though we werent really that close in sixth form, i had a great time catching up, even if i was a bit nervous at first. and i went out without makeup, oh cringeness... never mind...

making up for not going to the birmingham international by doing the glasgow open this weekend with the guys. i'm going over to liverpool tomorrow afternoon, and we're driving up to glasgow in the evening, stopping at a travel inn, so it's going to be bloody expensive but should be fun... i checked out who's entered - there's a few ranked women, but i didnt see the rest of the names on the BFA list. hopefully i'll kick moderate ass, even though i havent fenced for two weeks and have hardly done any exercise at all cos of that stupid virus... i tried a bit of footwork earlier and my thighs were complaining, but hopefully i'll be dosed up on enough caffeine not to care!

so yep, gonna do essay, then invade north of the border! woo!
