that beautiful sport...

hello all

yes, i know i should be working, but have been catching up on emails again and lookie lookie - added a spangly new link to my diary! from now on you will be able to access the sword wielding pirate otherwise known as mario's super-duper website all about the liverpool university fencing club. woo!

speaking of the beautiful sport, both the men's and women's teams had away matches yesterday and we both kicked butt! havent heard the breakdown of the guys match yet but ours was pretty kewl - yours truly managed to make up 14 points when we were trailing in foil to bring us back to 39-39, although i missed the last point. but still, it means we won overall so yay! and epee we just wiped the floor with them. sorry leeds, but we did. so feeling pretty good today, going fencing again tonight and then again on saturday, and ooh! got my foil back from the people at gofence, rewired sans charge with a new german tip. so hopefully it won't short out again on me. i just have to get used to it all over again now - i've grown accustomed to the very bendy club blade and mine is rather inflexible. and i have to change the grip again - can't remember where i put the other one though...
