drippy day

the weather today is conspiring against me. i am so sweaty it's ridiculous and frankly, worrying. far too humid. i had hoped to be home long before now, but having to go into the city centre to pick something up for mario kinda meant i've been hanging around for longer than i wanted. and i havent had any lunch yet so am feeling rather peckish.

why is it that i always manage to write better entry-sounding things on my online profiley whatsit than on here? although, some of the stuff on that i wouldnt really like in here. tis a shame you cant lock indiviual entries without having gold membership. i can't be bothered paying for that, i don't really do enough with my diary to warrant it. apart from hold back some things i'd like to say, which is kind of silly really, as this is supposed to be my vent, except it's a public vent and i dont want the people who read it to look at me funny.

have been spending far too much time feeling stupidly happy over the past few weeks - everything with mario is fantastic and i'm hoping it continues so for a long time yet. he's definitely a keeper. *happy sigh*

the end of year club competition is happening this weekend and i'm hoping to win the ladies' master-at-arms trophy. epee should be no problem, unless i have a bad day fencing kate. foil may be a challenge, especially against bryony, and i know i won't do fantastically in sabre but i reckon my other weapon scores will keep me in the running. i dont think either del or tanya will do well enough in the point weapons, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed for a nice shiny medal!

anyway, i'm going to go get food now and decide what i'm doing for the rest of the evening (work). hasta leugo!
