no, that cocktail glass-shaped bump under my coat isn't really a cocktail glass...

i feel so sleepy.

we had snow in liverpool! it settled and made us all very cold looking for the guest dinner after-party last night. and i nearly fell over in it, but didnt. phew.

the dinner was good though. they had free wine, opened and on the tables before dinner, which maybe wasn't such a good plan. but it was fun, and the food was lovely, especially the dessert... apple and caramel pancake stacks, mmmm... i ate way too much though. after dinner i decided the dress had to go so i went back to my room and put some trousers on, but kept the heels (yes i wore heels. my feet did not thank me.) because i don't think doc martens would have been too well received at bluu. we had a free bus at 11 to take us there but it parked so far away, and we had to walk in the snow and coldness looking very bedraggled. i shared my coat with ruth, which was great for keeping warm but a bit tricky to walk as we were both pretty drunk.

the party was kewl, bluu seems quite posh though, and very laidback, dahhling. they had some nice cocktails, and in my semi-coherent state i decided it would be fun to liberate a cocktail glass on the way out. i somehow managed to sneak it out under my coat, even though it was the most awkward shape in the world to hide properly. it's now sitting on my desk waiting to be washed.

i felt so ill this morning... i didnt have a hangover exactly; i just felt sick all day, and really out of it at dancing. i went back to bed after breakfast, and havent done any work all day. hmm. well i still have the weekend, so i'm going to work really hard and get all my objectives done for PBL and feel really proud of me.

and as it's now 22:29 and i've been talking to emma for the past two hours, i'd better leave this here and go to bed before i fall asleep on the keyboard.
