Bienvenidos!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

you may now high-five the bride...

hello folks.

emma came out with a good one today. she said 'i need some new jeans, all my others have a hole in one knee because i keep kneeling down to stroke cats.'

we were also discussing friendship marriages, how they would be kewl, and that you'd have to get 'divorced' if you fell out. i wonder what the vows would be like (will you take this laydee, to be your lawfully wedded friend, to laugh and to joke, to talk about the serious stuff, to have drunken conversations around the kitchen table about nothing in particular, to give their new boyfirend a chance, and be there with kleenex, chocolates and a decent film when it all goes wrong, in sickness and in health, in topshop and in void, for richer, for poorer and for grovelling to your bank manager, for as long as you both shall live?') ...and the reasons given for divorce... 'you didnt come round last night!' 'it was nothing, we shared a pizza, played video games! i was thinking of you the whole time!' 'did she sleep on your floor? how could you...'

hehe.. i'd marry em any day :-D

had a really good time this weekend, we stayed in on friday with a chinese, and henry, ruth and lucy came round for a while as well. me and em shared my little bottle of absolut mandarin, and mixed it with cranberry juice (after i'd had about half neat), which was really nice and i named it an 'emmapolitan'.

i had weird dreams about ants that night. hmm.

on saturday we went into liverpool at about half two and i showed them a bit of it.. we didnt see much though because most of the time we spent in H&M, quiggins and some other places i cant remember. i bought a couple of cards but nothing else, but em bought a tshirt and a belt - tres kewl. when we got back we finished the rest of the chinese then went over to sam's for birthday cake and to say hello, but there were soooo many people there and i hardly knew any of them.. i cut up the cake while sam was off meeting people and hugging and things, we stayed a bit then left.

we went out later with ruth and lucy, and met up with henry and ish while we were there - it was really good, i havent been out for ages and its always fun going out with em and kate. i had this vodka mudslide thing, which was like an alcohoic chocolate milkshake and i drank it much too quickly. it was rather scrummy. em, kate and myself stupid-danced the night away, and lucy joined in as well, which was fantastic. they played hanson, woo! lol.. and backstreet boys, so we tried to remember the dance we'd done when we were about 13.. hmm that was interesting...

woke up quite late today, caught the 2pm bus into liverpool, and spent the whole afternoon looking for somewhere that sold jacket potatoes. we may have been sidetracked into a couple of shops on the way, but the main misson was the potato. and when we did find somewhere, the cooker had just broke so they couldnt do food. boo. we did become the proud owners of a few choice garments, and at bargain prices too! then em and kate had to go, so after much hugs and love yous and byes they left :-( so now i'm all alone again.

buuut ian's coming for his interview on tuesday so i only have monday to go til i can see him :-D mmmmm ian... he'll have to leave on weds tho, but at least i get him for a little bit.

anyway, i want something sweet and unhealthy before i go to bed (its ok - i went to aerobics, it balances out!) so i'm going to go now.

nighty night
