shopping basket barbecue

hi all

been kind of busy lately doing the whole back at uni thing. this module is waaaaay too big.

had a tres amiable evening on sunday - we all pitched in a fiver and had a barbecue on the field: matt, alex, richard, oish, henry, lucy, ruth, richard and myself, and somehow i ended up cooking for everyone. except the sausages. the boys did them. we had a disposable barbecue that was the first to get going, a cheap reusable one, and a pile of coals with an upended shopping basket over them that actually worked quite well after a bit of persuasion and a lot of lighter gel :D

after we'd managed to consume almost 16 chickn legs, 8 thighs, two packs of sausages, 8 burgers and 4 quorn burgers (for me, how thoughtful they were), 7 of us piled into my room to watch sleepy hollow, along with half a case of carlsberg (blee!)

other interesting stuff... i took my grade 1 foil at fencing on tuesday but mike didn't tell us if we'd passed or not. grr. i had my first GP morning last week, which was interesting, and i had my community something teaching session today in fazakerly, which i spent forever on the bus finding yesterday, and took 15 minutes to get to on the train. bah. i took the bus back to allerton and went browsing, was flicking through a neonatal care book i found in oxfam when i came over all light headed and had to sit down. very strange.

i'm sure i've done other interesting stuff since i last updated... i went out for a drink with a few of the fencing people on saturday, then mike, adele, henry and myself went on to the krazyhouse. mario and ben were going to come but decided not to because it was an all nighter and �5 to get in. tsk. they missed PVC cowgirl slut. for some reason the word slut feels really nice to say. reminds me of slush... sludge... mmm all squidgy words. but she wasnt squidgy, and good job too.

i should probably stop waffling now i've finished looking up HPA and go back and write up what it was. (health protection agency).
