Teaching to teach
I don't know if updating for the sake of updating really counts. Tuesdays are long days for me. I'm out of the house between eight and nine depending on whether it's a GP or a CCT day, and then I don't get home again until after fencing in the evening. I don't think I'm going to manage free fencing tonight. I'll just do the newbies' session and call it a day. I had my first coaching class last night, and really enjoyed it. The guy wasn't very encouraging though, as when I asked if we'd done ok all he said was 'you all took far too long'. Thanks, dude. Maybe when we've been coaching for 150 years like you we'll be able to fit a whole warm-up, en garde, footwork and lunge lesson into three seconds too.
Bah.
