i definitely have a cold. tis not pleasant, although it has given me the token sexy husky cold-voice.

i'm in the library PC room, was looking at some pictures i got back on CD from the past couple of weeks. i don't actually think the CD was worth the �1.98 i paid for it, grr asda! or maybe it was just my rubbish disposable camera making my pictures pants. i really need a decent camera (hint hint to any rich, generous person who may be reading this!). they're quite fun though. and i now have a couple of me and mario to stick up on my wall. he's in birmingham at the moment, gone to meet up with leonie before she goes back to the netherlands. i'm not sure how i feel about that. a little anxious, maybe... but meh, you're not supposed to feel warm and accommodating to current partners' ex girlfriends who broke up with them and hurt them rather a lot. i could be mean and write something bitchy here but there's not really much point, and i'm not mean and bitchy anyway.

argh, my eyes are all hot and my nose feels all bunged up. and the sneezing is annoying me.

went to the tournament this weekend. did completely shite in foil, i was awarded five hits over the whole day. FIVE! bloody presidents, i deserved a few more than that. i have no idea what happened to my form, it was just nowhere to be seen. i honestly wanted to cry, it took all the fun out of it. the guys did pretty well, with most of them finishing within the top 75% - ranking points aplenty! sunday was slightly better, i did much better in my pool, won 3 out of my 5 bouts. my DE was just rubbish though. the girl i was against kept using the same counter to my attacks and i couldnt figure out how to get around it. everything i tried i just got hit for. i was so annoyed with myself. and i ate a dodgy sandwich which gave me a gurgly stomach for the next few hours. i still finished 17th, which was ok. mario did fantastically well - he won four of his six pool bouts, won his first DE comfortably, then knocked out nick stokes in a very close match to get into the last 16. the last 16 match was also pretty close but in the end he lost 15-10, but ended up ranked 14th out of 64. not bad at all. rooban came 36th, and some of the other guys we know did well too. the next one is norfolk, unless i go to the nationals, which i probably won't as i have my OSCE at nine on the monday.

really need to start revision soon, and i need to choose my SSMs too. i really cant be bothered, SSMs are such a pain in the ass. i'll get around to it this week.

we get tenancy of the new house in a couple of weeks time - i can't wait! i get the room i wanted, so lots of space! and a double bed for once, yay yay :) need to get double bedding though, i only have single stuff at the mo. i still don't like the carpets. or the front door. flippin landlord - 'we wanted to preserve the character of the house' yeah right, you just didnt want to pay to change it! meh.

i should probably leave this here, it's getting a bit long and boring.
