Wannabe foodie

I'm making myself hungry looking at a load of recipes on the BBC food website that I'm probably never going to have time to make. I like cooking, I just wish making all the interesting dishes wasn't so expensive. Buying all the ingredients just for one recipe adds up. I'd like to think that next year we can all do a meal and eat it together instead of everyone in the house making their own food. The time Kev and Tanya came over and I did the chicken thing was fun, although it could have done with a sauce of some kind. We might try out one of Mario's recipes later if we don't go out.

I don't really now what to write about today. I handed my CTM in on Thursday, even though it was a pile of crap, but I guess I'll have to see how it turns out. Now I just have PBL to do but even that isn't due for a couple of weeks. It's Em and Kate's birthday soon but I don't know what they're doing for it yet. Last year was fun, with the whole Frankie and whatsits thing. I need to get them their presents or I'm going to end up not finding anything again.

Pah. This entry is going to go nowhere so I'm going to go home and do the laundry.
