my life, summarised

ok third time lucky :)

Things I Have Done Since Last Time I Updated:
- went out in fancy dress with the fencers to the krazyhouse
- went to mikes and ate chilli
- kicked ass at fencing on saturday and tuesday, beating sam, alex, rooban, and ben (at epee) and feeling rather chuffed
- being annoyed at finding that these fantabulous scores would not be used to my advantage in the ranking
- saw my first post-mortem. interesting and rather odd.
- went to sheffield and kicked ass again in the first team match of the season, after being very nervous and thinking i was going to cock up.
- slept in far too late on thursday and then went back to being crap at fencing and losing to people i dont usually lose against. but i did beat rooban.
- went to the lecture on friday only to find it was cancelled, then went dancing after PBL and felt fat and inadequate.
- stopped by aldi on the way home - bad mistake - spent the evening watching bridget jones and eating half a lemon drizzle cake and far too much chocolate ice cream
- rang em and kate :D
- went to fencing this morning and got put in the pool with all the good people and lost abysmally, even to two people i have beaten before. feel crap.
- went to the font and had a peach, orange and cranberry cocktail and finished off other peoples curly fries. feeling better.
- entered a beginners' foil competition tomorrow and feeling slightly nervous, but hoping the adrenaline will give me a boost. can't understand how adam got so good after fencing for only five months longer than me. i still feel like a complete novice.
- have been wearing my shiny new liverpool university fencing hooded top since i got it on tuesday and feeling superior to the masses. when i'm not feeling inferior in my specialities.

i still need BFA membership for this comp tomorrow but i cant find where to download the application form. i'll just have to get it on the day.

i should go and get the bus now...

ummm what else.. its my birthday on thursday. feel remarkably unenthusiastic about it for some reason. i'll be spending most of the day in fazakerly then going fencing. i dont know if i can be bothered to go out for it. buuut when i go home at the weekend i'll have my fantasmic new kit waiting for me! yay yay!

missing ian incredibly, will have to ring him when i get back.
